I'm gonna wait a couple days before I update. Lots of people having issues with doing the update - which happens - but I don't need to be the first adopter... Excited though!

Looks cool. Idk why people made such a huge deal on this. I get it was kind of a bs promise, but all the amps that are in these plugins been captured tons of times. Updating mine tomorrow.

I had a quad cortex but sold it. For anyone that knows it now supports all their plugins? I presume you have to buy them all separately to use on the device as well? Thanks.

Kind of late for this, if this was functional when it came out it would have been a huge deal

good on them for making due on their promise tho

Updated to 3.0.0 Yesterday but did not have time to try it yet. Also got the IIC+ plugin for free although it is not supported yet. Hopefully soon…

Yep, and the cabs were in there too. Hopefully it means there'll be plenty more new updates of the QC and plugins to come though now

Agree. It's pretty cool and all but the amps and cabs are already there as you mention.

A few FX I guess are "newish" one of the Choruses in particular is supposed to be pretty great. Since the QC can capture amps and drive pedals it is not hurting for amps or drives, you can even capture the plugins if you have them and want it. So, really the FX are probably the best thing.

Also all the presets from the Plugins are ported/available on the device and the plugin presets are actually quite good on some of them, so there is some value there I guess.

There were some other features... the folder and side chain features will be cool, too...

They're also updating their plugins; those that can be loaded in the Quad Cortex will have an X, e.g,. Archetype Plini vs Archetype Plini X.

I use more than Neural DSP plugins, so I built a computer rig for guitar that has several different plugins, not just Neural DSP. If the Quad Cortex had their plugin support at launch I may have purchased one, now it's not so interesting to me.

I haven't had a modeler in a few years now, and was looking at my current options, including the Quad Cortex; no interest in capture. Just bought a new Helix Floor.

I had a LT for a few years when it was first launched, sold it, and have had a HX-Effects for a few years now; Helix just works best for me.
