:rock: I liked it alot. The build quality felt kind of flimsy compared to my Herbert though. I ended up selling mine because the Herbert and ENGL pretty much covered everything I liked about the 5150 III

Agreed...I have never seen any amp that was built as strong as the Diezel. They are like armored tanks! :rock:
 
I played a 5150 III a couple weeks ago and was pretty blown away as well. 15+ years and Eddie finally got it right! Channel 1 is clean and finally brings a good one to one of his amps, Ch 2 is the classic Roth era VH sound and Ch 3 is the more modern saturated Soldano type tone. I'd have liked to see them put in one more channel to use as a dedicated lead tone since a lot of people will probably use Ch 3 as a modern rhythm sound too. Very tight sounding, Ch 2 almost reminded me of that Metallica IIC+ type sound with the gain up high.

I'll probably get one eventually as well.
 
It's a cool amp. Initially I was not impressed but the amp was not 'right'. The second one I played was much better.....and here it is.
