New Axe-FX III Rig & Pedalboard

I posted this over at GGF but thought I would cross-post it here. Nice Rack Canada recently completed the pedal board build for the Axe-FX III rack rig I just built. UPS tried to kill the pedal board during delivery, but I got it all sorted out and finally got everything in place. The second photo is the new setup for "Madison Spare Bedroom". I may pick-up one of the new 50W EVH Stealth 5150's to stack on the Mesa, and I have a 100W H&K Switchblade half-stack at the practice garage, but I think I'm done for a while. If I can't get it done with this, it's not a gear problem

The Mesa cab is wired in stereo, so I swap cables between the Axe and Roadster...

Nice Rack Canada built both boards and had one of their partners custom build the rolling flight cases. Each has cable storage in the bottom. I had them build a 25-foot stage snake and an 8-foot snake that I use inside the house to keep things tidy. The quality of their work is top-notch. Highly recommended...

Matrix GT1000FX. The 800 would have been plenty, but it was never available....

As much as I wanna avoid thinking this is the good shit, and just "Say No To Fractal", I can't help but realize it's the "right thing to do" on so many levels.

Looks beautiful, well laid out, and overall - just a REALLY NICE rig setup Bro!!

I was trying to buy an Axe FX III a couple of weeks ago, but I only had $2000 and the sales tax + shipping just killed it. They offered me free shipping but couldn't raise the extra $165. This new Internet sales tax is one of the most despicable things the SCOTUS has ever done to the US market! In any case congratulations on the rig. Are you using FRFR or a power amp?

Thank you, sir. It's good to hear from you. I hope you and yours are doing OK in this weird ass world we live in.

I still have several tube options, but the digital stuff provides a lot of flexibility and the Fractal gear seems to be the top of the class. The effects from the FX8 into the Friedman are pretty awesome and the ability to run the rack rig at stage volume or into headphones is handy. Now I need to make time to dial-in all of this stuff. There's always another priority...

after seeing your rig I couldn't help myself. This is what's upstairs in my bedroom. There is more in the basement
