New axe in da house (Baker)

I'm really impressed. It's a Baker B3 XS, all mohagany, neck through, 59 profile.....just sweet as hell. One of only two made (mahogany with the strat head). I was planning on selling it before I got it (trade deal), but I really think I may keep this baby. Here's some pics.

I usually don't like painted necks either,but I have no problems with it. It's very, very smooth. I wouldn't change anything about it. Except the color itself. I'd like it to be black.

Thanks, they're Dimarzio Vintage somthin, somethin's. Low output. I'll be replacing them if I keep it with a Rio Grande BBQ in the bridge.

Question: How is the painted neck? I know it's been asked but painted necks to me are an issue, my hands get sweaty and the sticky factor doesn't jive with me. Do you get that sticky feeling? It's such a limiting factor for me when trying guitars.

My Gibson Les Paul Jr has a painted neck and I hit it with some fretboard conditioner every other month or so, keeps it from feeling too sticky. That strat looks good to me, can you make the humbuckers into single coil via switching? I do like the color very surf like.

I normally don't like painted necks, but this one is different. Very smooth and no issues with gumming up at all. I wouldn't change anything about it.

Yep, the bottom tone pot is a push/pull. Absolutely incredible single coil tones.
