These cabs are a great deal on the used market. Vintage 30 loaded all plywood construction. The back isn't MDF either. Its actually one of the thicker rear panels that I've seen. Its build like a tank. Yes, it's a line 6 Vintage 30 cab and it was $300. Cheaper than the speakers alone. I removed the Line 6 logo and the tone improved 20% :D

I actually love this cab. It's easy on the ears, has a nice woody tone, and really fills out the bottom end. Together with a greenback cab, is some of the most delicious tones I'v heard in a while

yeah ive passed on these a few times as i just dont have the room or need for more cabs, but for $300 these days i wouldnt say no

It hangs with my Marshall GB straight and Soldano V30 straight cab, no prob. Stupid good deal.

Look at how thick the back panel is. Its Mesa like. View attachment 199519

i think the problem was these used to be quite expensive new, and who was gonna pay big bucks for a line6 cab, but now they are steals. My ibanez Thermion cab is like that, its probably the best constructed cab i have, its actually split in the middle and sounds great but.. who was gonna pay for a new ibanez cab?? i think i got it for $200 a few years ago off CL. Crate BV4x12s with the v30s are great too you can find cheap

shootout video between Marshall Cab with Greenbacks and Line 6 with Vintage 30s, then both together

Wise move. No reason for boards and switches on a cab, at least not for most of us. I never use my cabs in stereo anyways. Good tool for the studio I guess.
