Loaded with a tonetubby hempcone and open back.

I compared it to Suhr, Bogner and CAA cubes before I decided. All of them sound fine but the Diezel sounds HUGE.

Peter, there weren't many 1x12 cabs like this made, right?

Very cool. I bought a pair of 1x12s a while back. Both closed back. Both slightly different from each other. Haven't seen an open-back one.
