New Dell XPS laptops any good?

Throwing around numbers right now. I really like the idea of getting a desktop from cyberpowerpc, but im also still throwing around the idea of a Dell XPS system. new system is going in my bedroom and i was thinking maybe a nice Dell xps with 17" nice screen would be a good option. I just dont know anymore. Running out of time and my wife is nagging the crap out of me about a new system.

I figure its going to be complete crap in 3 years anyway, no matter if I build myself or have some one else do it....

The XPS line of Dell computers is the only ones to get from them. All other computers by Dell are sadly now relegated to crap status. All customer service for them is from overseas with a staff that merely reads a script they don't understand since their native language is not English to begin with.

If money is not a consideration, there are a few boutique manufacturers that still make a really fine product with excellent customer service. For mass-produced laptops, the XPS aren't bad though.

I got the model M1530, family bought it for me for x-mas, so I don't know how much it cost.

I'd say it's not the top-o-the-line but not the cheapest.

Core Duo 1.5 I think?

Hi def sound card that I can't remember the name of, Wi-Fi/bluetooth blah blah, fingerprint reader, badass camera, dvd/blueray/recordable drive thingie, three years of pc-cillin antivrus and three years of some theft shit I can't think of the name of......yeah....I use it for porn . I'm not a total noobie computer guy but I know enough to know it's a good one, and I use it for protools plus porn... just thought I'd add that, oh and rig-talk I guess.
