And the alternative...

Sounds fantastic. Only played it for a few mins so far, but it really does sound very good. Very musical lead channel, fat sounding. Fantastic cleans, and Texas mode is killer too! After initially stating the Bogner is "world's better", I'm gonna actually spend some time playing through the Mesa, putting it through it's paces, despite the fact I do think the Bogner sounds a lot better and brings the best out of any amp I try it with.

More to come...

COOL MAN! looks sweet!

hope it rocks with the MEsa, I love how it looks all black and in the 2x12 form (I love 2x12 :D)

Congratz.

You should sell both of your cabs and get one of the new diezel cabs Duolos is raving about.

That entered my mind this afternoon. How much are they in Europe? Anyone know?

A new Diezel cab would be fantastic for you. You would be surprised at the difference.

Yeh? Can you compare it to a Bogner for me?

IMO and IME, the New Diezel cab is tighter, more dynamic and fuller sounding. It is a very balanced cabinet (front loaded G12K100) It is incredibly dynamic. It can really handle the low end without EVER getting flubby. It always stays punchy, clear, focused and razor sharp. It just feels perfect. I have never played a cab that was like this and I am totally loving these now. The really cool thing is that no matter the amp, guitar, or style of music, the result is the same. It really responds to the input of the player into the amp and guitar and is just tight, bloomy in a way and very very cool. Very full and rich sounding. It is like another extension of the player in a way I have yet to feel and hear as a player in my 24 years of playing. The cabinet never falls apart on the chug nor is it ever too stiff and tight that it comes across as harsh and stiff.

I hope this helps clarify. If you have further questions, please ask. :)

Hey man,

I love it. Ch2 is nothing but thick, musical lead goodness. Feels fantastic to play on, and even better on the ears. Love all the modes on Ch1 too, but I'm particularly gravitating toward Texas mode so far. Just killer stuff right there. Fantastic cleans too.

And you weren't far off at all man. Thanks for the advice

Damn you both are giving me the gas worse then burritos, and chille combined!!!

I am looking at an Einstein, but the only problem is I am in Canada, and the Einstein is in the USA. That would be no problem except the Canadian dollar which was equal to the american dollar about a month and a half ago is now at 0.77 US. It is going to add 30% to the price

Congrats - I've been gassing bad for an Einstein combo, but have decided that the head w/ a 2x12 cab is the way to go. Gotta have the closed back for that thump.

Good luck!
