Anybody have any idea when the new Egnater HG Series will be hitting the floor at Guitar Center???

I thought they was already supposed to be out but they're not. I'm really looking foward to hearing them.

Me too. I have a little rack for "little" heads a Egnater amp switcher between a rebel 20, tweaker, and a Jet City(modded) JCA20H, with a old mosvalve 500 for bigger halls if i need it. (rarely have) and couple of rack FX. It's been bouncing around for 3 yr's for my own weekend bands and sessions, and even some union gigs. I haven't had any trouble other then a crap tube or two. I have a spot to foam in another small Egnater, and a High Gain rebel would fit the bill nicely! Funny I had a fargen miniplex that has spent as much time in the shop as on stage (sold now) I asked fargen if he was still doing rebel mods, "Nope all chinese crap" was the answer. Not so sure about that China= crap thing anymore.... VG

P.s. Damn Sorry, I didn't see that this was an older thread my bad.

How much gain do we need!! LOL.

That that much more really. In the case of the Tourmaster specifically, I felt that the head did just about everything really well as is: But just a bit more aggression in the 4th channel would allow for a more "modern" sounding high gain voice at your disposal. If they achieved this (along with the slightly tighter response generated through the "M" mod), I think the amp will be near perfection (especially as a mass produced item, and the price that comes with it). And let's face it...The tan / brown mix is very "vintagesque" and cool...But definitely not for everyone. Just my opinion.

I love the new look.

I heard September-October time frame from someone, only Bruce can truly answer the question; if it were me, I would not release the date until the amps are in his hands and are completely ready to ship. Using the words, "we are shipping..." instead of "we expect to ship..." is not making promioses that he cannot control; there are things that can completely change shipping schedules that are completely out of his control until he has them in his hands.

Boo... went looking for this online, and the HG series has been taken off the webpage... SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!
