Well this would be amp number 20 in 3 years and I think this is a keeper. I'm stunned at how well made this thing is.
GC had it on sale for $2,700 for the 100 watt version and I could not resist. It is just huge sounding, even through my 2X12.
I was a little frightened because I'm not a super high gain player but this thing really sounds sweet.
I can solo all day on my neck pickup on my Les Paul and it has so much clarity. Cant say that about the Fuchs ODS 100 that I just sold.
I'm running vintage G12-65's through a semi open back cab right now it sounds great but I'm wondering there are better choices out there.

Depends on your style of play. I have a 4x12 with Vintage 30's but have also played my 50 watt Eini through a 2x12 with greenbacks that sounded great.

I'm more along the Bonamassa gary Moore style. I have 4 early 70,s G12H 30's with the 55 hertz bass cones that I'm going to load up in a
4X12 straight cab as well.

You have a BIG problem you need to address first. START PLAYING and quit chasing tone/amps or whatever it is people do. Take the advice, you'll end up a better player and save alot of money too. If you want to chase something chase PRACTICE and better technique.

As for the Einstein, it has to be one of the best amps ever made to date. I love mine and if there's a poor bastard of a soul alive that can't get a certain tone out of the Einstein then that person needs to play more. I was playing Texas Flood and Little Wing with just a touch of reverb the other day and my neighbors showed up to tell me how nice the playing was. The Einstein is an animal and it'll do it all, I have the 100w and the Masters on it are incredible. I doubt there's any difference between the 50w and 100w in sound.

You better take the advice above for your own good unless you're not a guitar player and just do it for fun.

That's is good advice and your right, I've been playing for over 30 years and I've never went through so many amps in this short amount of time.
Part of it is I have the money now to buy pretty much anything I want. Were as when I was younger and starting out I was broke and had to make due with what I could afford. So I did more playing and less buying. I actually had some great amps, they were mostly old Marshalls that were modded. Anyway point taken but that still doesn't answer my question about speakers. I'm going to try some Scumbacks I think.

It's understandable I think. I spent 10 years with the same amp and the same guitar.... in the last two years I've bought 3 new amps and 3 new guitars.... It'll stop, I know....I honestly don't wanna have 15 amps and 45 guitars (I love to have a more personal relationship with my gear) and owning more than 3 or 4 amps feels like "cheating" to them a bit. same with guitars...

Welcome to the Family! Einstein Ch2 is by far "The Best 'Stock' Lead Tone I Have Ever Played Or Heard Period"!

+1000...I too am a new Einstein owner and and love Ch 2. I definitely understand the OP because I was in the same situation when I was younger. I am now in a position to buy just about any amp I like (have been the last couple of years), so in the past few years I've cylced through more amps than I have played....but it has stopped ever since my Bogner Shiva and now the Einstein. These are my two main amps.

I'd have to disagree with this blanket statement...

I've been playing for thirty-some years, practice daily, and make a living playing my guitar. I also have a thing for guitar amplification so I buy, trade, sell, etc. etc. all the time. I don't do it because I think it will make me a better player or improve my technique, I do it because I am "Inspired" differently by the different sounds of various amplifiers.

I understand where you are coming from, however there are a lot of us "Tone-Chaser's" that are "Not" bedroom player's that continually horse-trade gear for whatever misguided reason's.

I think you might be the guy from the Bogner board? I just went the other way and picked up a new Shiva!
