So i got my einstein combo today
I read on the forum that the speaker "breaks up" after a sometime of usage. I notice that the sound it's a bit dark and "closed".
Is this normal? It has to be with the speaker being new? Will it get better? It's it tube issues?
Other then that the amp just slays everything i ever experienced.

Proud to be part of the Diezel Family :D

With any amp, you just need to experiment with the eq and such. The speaker will break in over time, getting a bit smoother

Speakers need a bit of time to wear in. Don't worry, just play it. A lot.

congrats man! I thought the SAME THING when I played mine, and it seems like everything's falling in place now... Maybe it's my ears that gut used to it, or the new cab I bough along with the Einstein (a fremus 2x12) is starting to wear in.

Just play it a lot and remember it's fairly dark amp, so don't be afraid to just turn up the treble.

I haven't had the need to turn the treble up on mine with any of my guitars. What I recommend is that you set the combo on a chair or some other stand. This will get rid of low end muddiness because the amp has lots of bottom end. You'll get better clarity this way because it's also closer to your ears rather than blasting your feet.

Celestion recommends that you set a clean tone loud and play lots of snappy open chords for about 15 minutes to loosen up the speaker. This worked fine for me.

You might also want to experiment with tubes a bit. The stock ones are a bit on the dark side. I swap the first three preamp tubes around from time to time depending on my mood. Right now I think it's stock V1, GT 12AX7M in V2 and V3, Svetlana/SED 12AX7 in V6.
