Already listed for pre-order on some European website.
There was a thread about a couple weeks ago.
 
I was at Guitar Center yesterday trading in a Vintage Modern for another JVM and asked the guy about 5150 III. He said withion the next month it should be in some stores. Took the JVM back today....like the Vintage Modern much better but only want the 50 watt version, which they did not have in stock. I'll wait until the 5150 III comes out to buy anything else.
Hopefully it won't sound anything like previous 5150's.
 
Doesn't Peavey have rights to that name??? How did that all work out?? I'd think they'd be pissed.

I think they dont have it anymore, maybe it was the other way around, eddie had the name, but had a contract with peavey, but i'm not sure :lol:

No, the 5150 trademark is registered to Edward van Halen, so he can take it anywhere he goes.

My guess is it will be somewhere around 1,500 US$, based on the fact that most gear in Europe is priced where they simply replace $ by €. Bad deal :gethim: ....
 
Apparently we can get in the UK in the next one or two weeks. I have my name down to reserve one to make sure i get to play it before they sell it.
 
The guy at GC said $2000.00. I don't know if that's retail or actual price. He could be wrong but my guess is gonna be right around there. I would pay it if the quality and tone is there. Sounds pretty cool in the wasted Eddie NAMM clip.
