I always appreciate these super modern Strats. The two Ultra’s I’ve owned have been awesome. I love the red and black Strat here.

That said, I wish they would just contract with Seymour Duncan or someone for the pickups. Fender Noiseless pickups have never been very good and their humbuckers are a joke. If they threw a prewired SD pickguard into this bad boy from the factory it would be a huge improvement.

As a modder, I'm far more interested in the Player ii series.


Then again, I already know my modded Player One's are better than the Player II's and these.
