All models at $599. Looks to be made in Indonesia at the Cort (solid body models) and PT Wildwood (acoustasonic line), but thought it was interesting they're bringing them back. Guessing that it slots in below the player series and above the Squiers (at least in price). Seems like they have too many options, imo. As strange as it sounds, the acoustasonic line is the only one that makes sense to me.

I agree. The Acoustasonic has never really been a big pull, especially at the price but for $599, and it lower used.... I could see myself easily picking one up. They could have just released a line of those tbh.

At the same time for the rest, I get the people who still want a guitar with Fender on the headstock for the same price a MIM used to be instead of Squier.

I guess it is aimed at that niche of player. I thought the pickups sounded lack luster and were struggling to get that certain sound a Fender produces, which is not normal for even their cheaper stuff so... Not a good start.

Yeah, I have two of the MIM acoustasonic telecasters and as TGP as it sounds I really love them. I didn't like them when they first came out, but I bought a few of them for Christmas gifts a few years ago when they were on sale for around $500, sat down with one and was pretty impressed overall so decided to keep two :ROFLMAO: . It does seem like this line of them only has the pickup and piezo instead of onboard modeling, but if they're even close than I would say not too bad of a deal.
