anyone heard the rumours for .Namm .
it may be just me but everything seems very quiet this year .


so far ive heard the Randall/Kirk Hammet line .

Marshall with a 2 channel JVM clean/ Od 1 with green amber red modes .

Possible Randy Rhodes signature .head as well .go figure .

Egnater with Rebel ,Tourmaster and a few others .

VHT -Sig and memphis heads hopefully .
thats about it ..

Yeah the M1 amp looks nice but i read somewhere it was going to hit street at 3500 USD or in that ballpark.

yeah I think thats in Aussie dollars though. im not sure if he can ship out of state yet do to some laws. Well that's the rumor I heard.

I read on a forum he posts on that he's trying to keep it low 3000 Aussies dollars, which is low $2000 right now (quick guesstimates).

I hate to say this but those clips might have ended my interest in that amp. I'll have to try one at NAMM but if the ditortion channels even remotely sound like what I heard on those clips, the amp isnt for me.

Hey Ralphie, be sure to go by the HBE/Gutierrez booth, I'd like to hear what you think of the Gutierrez stuff, plus I think they may have a couple HBE prototype amps there as well, I'm not definete on that but I think so.

Anyone heard about the VHT Memphis other than it is replacing the super 30 ,50st

Im looking basically for a glassy country type Clean (yes laugh away) and a moderate hi gain tone a La Dokken, Vanhalen ,Reb beach..

I see lots of specs on the Sigx .but other than 2 combos and a head .I see nothing on the Memphis line

Well I thought I'd just link it anyway, admittably Michael's never come off as a gain lover to me though he claims theres a lot he wasn't using, or weird EQ'ing. I'm not sure, its too rich for me anyway.

I really glad that you did post those clips ! I know enough not to judge an amp by the clips. I really have to hear it for myself.
