Thinking some new cables and a few straps.
Might finally try a different pick.
Have a couple guitars, a bass, and some pedals inbound, but overall feeling like 2025 is going to be a purge year for me.
I really want to just quit lollygagging and get my cellar studio finished.
What about y'all? Anything exciting on the horizon?
 
Yeah I’m going to unload some tonally redundant stuff and some mid-level guitars for fewer high end builds.

There’s really nothing out that excited me at this point. Maybe a Wizard? Outside of that I may offload a few Marshall types for a Ground Zero Hellion.

Fuck everything else.

What picks are you using now?
 
If possible I'd like to recone my EVM 12S speakers, ship 'em to my new residence, and DIY some massively oversized ported 1x12's for 'em. I have a PZM on it's way to me right now, depending on how that works I may see about picking up another later for a stereo pair. Aside from that, just DIY amp mods 'n stuff.
 
Getting ready to downsize even more, letting go of some Les Pauls, maybe one of my Chubs, EVH amp. Replacing probably with the Synergy Head or possibly a Ground Zero, maybe even give Splawn another shot. I just don't play that much anymore and I don't like have stuff around to pull out of a case and look at. Kinda waiting to see if Marshall offers anything after NAMM.

honestly this is something i've been wondering about...will 2025 finally be the year prices stop defying gravity!

i know you're hoping for them to go back up...but dang man...we been on a solid rip for so long hahaha
 
I just bought two different lasers for my shop .... I'll be able to do custom chassis faceplates .... Logo's for amps ... custom pickguards ...

one of the lasers can cut 3/4 in baltic birch in a single pass ... I'm going to start doing custom tolex headshells also ...

I'm pretty stoked about it ...

Dunlop Jazz III, that's the only pick you need. At least it's all I need.

So, hypothetically, if someone wanted a Spinal Tap style JCM800 face plate, would that be a possibility?

no problem at all ....I'm already doing some ... not spinal tap ones .... but I just did some for a 800/JEL build I have on cue ....
