Seen them live a few times and they are loud as heck. They are using Two Notes Torpedo Live for their cab emulation (2x12 EVH with SM57) and EQing off the low and high end. EVH5150IIIs with gain on max settings which is surprising but hey whatever works. So much for the 4x12 purists. 
D Standard and Drop C. Which says a lot about how you don't need to tune down to Drop A and B for heavy tones.
They were by far one of the loudest bands I have ever heard. The other being Mastodon.

For me it is easily Steve Vai years ago and then Jake E Lee on his first Red Dragon Cartel tour. Both were way beyond too loud and I like loud shows. Vai was handing out cotton balls to people close to the stage.

Whos going to be an attention grabbing cool kid and learn this song immediately and post the first youtube cover? It's like the people that want to be the first to post it on youtube dont actually care about the music, they only care about being the first...thrn they scour the net for the next new song to come out so they can be the first to cover that one.
