I’ve had this amp for a few days now I have put it up against everything that I have KT88 wizards, fortins, Cameron’s, the new Uber, you name it and it beats that other amps in all areas. Jeremy is truly amazing and I feel very lucky to have this amp in my possession. It has everything I like about my various amps all in one. Big deep huge tight lows like a wizard (low end is even bigger than my kt88 mtl how is that even possible?!?), crispy clear high end and good grind to it like fortin or the new Uber , it has the air and speaker push of like a mezzabarba or CCV, it has a really juicy feel with exceptional touch sensitivity and dynamics . Game Changer.

I missed getting to try one by a few weeks. I have played a 150 watt mtl. If it has that level of punch, that is cool as hell.

Happy NAD!

This looks great and your description promises even more. GAS (or should I say AAS lol) intensifies 🤘🏻

I'll take your Cameron since you no longer need it. I've always wanted to try one in person.

It’s possible but it’s going to be a pretty penny for the price I paid and what they go for. Or you can order one of those bogner Pandoras, had one of those and they are very very similar to the ccv. Or order a hellion and never need another amp again ;)

LOL fair enough. ;) I've considered a few Cameron-alikes. I do have a 'Camerock' synergy module that is really a lot of fun, but there is always curiosity. Cool info re the Pandora. Anyway congrats on your cool new amp. Do not want to derail your thread with Cameron talk, we know how that gets.

Is that a Brad era CCV?

Aura is similar to a “feel” control. Turning it down tightens the attack and turning it up fattens the sound. Really helps to get the amp 100% dialed in.

Aura is also push pull. Pulling it changes the plate voltage of the first preamp stage. Pulled is spongier with a more compressed feel.
Are you thinking in to add some simple clean in your amp series?

How do you like the megalith gamma? I have one myself.

It's very useful tbh, most controls with that type of name aren't as dramatic in effect

The aura control is really helpful in dialing in

Funny, my buddy brought his over and we played it side by side to some Wizards - the Hellion is a killer amp for sure but it won't send mine nor any of his Wizards packing.

He has the first version of V2 before the revisions. Let him know he can send it to me and I’ll update it for free. It has quite a bit more punch and bottom end now.

I’d actually be really interested to hear how it compares after the update.

I should mention that I’m not trying to build a Wizard clone so it’s not going to sound like one. If Wizards are your thing, it probably won’t replace them. However, it has been mentioned by several owners that it has a similar punch but with more of a “Cameron-ish” feel. It’s got its own thing going on. But I also realize that no amp will be for for everyone.

Wasn't throwing shade, at all as I think your amps are killer - I'd certainly like one at some point. Was just saying that OP claiming it sent the Wizard packing is a high praise for your amp but to each his own. I just reached out to my buddy - very kind of you to update it, he's also got 2 8 ohm taps that needed a checkup. thanks Jeremy

I didn’t take it that way at all. Sorry if it seemed that way. You know how responding in text can be. Sometimes comes across differently than you intend.

Definitely have him hit me up!

Gotta be honest I’d be a little disappointed if it did sound like a wizard. Not that they aren’t cool, but ya know…it’s a particular sound. So much more space for sonic exploration
