NGD: I just got this today. The $199 special from Amazon. Music Man Sterling Cutlass CT30SSS in Pueblo pink. Needed some minor adjustments out of the box. Pickups are quite loud.

Pretty sure Albert Lee's guitar was/is a "Music Man"... although the body of his seems a bit more angular than yours but it still has a strat style pickup arrangement. Does it play well and are you happy with how it sounds? Looks fine to me.

It’s quite chimey and loud. Needs that a few month break in period with some adjustments and acclimation the the Oregon humidity, but so far so good.

It'd be interesting to know what pots it uses. Check to see if they are 250k. Higher valued ones can be a bit shrill.

Getting any strat style guitar to sound like strat is easy enough but might take a bit of a component swap out.

Yes it’s getting a CTS overhaul on the next string change… plus a treble bleed on the volume pot. I hate how all the balls drop out as the vol rolls off.

I'm a bit of a fan of the cheaper-version MM geetars and basses.

Congrats brother.

This is OTC so I'll move this to the main sub-forum.
