How's it going guys/gals?

I'm a new member. I looked for a new member section and couldn't find it, so forgive me for posting this here.

I like jamming on mostly heavy riffs, but do on occasion pick up my acoustic and play some of those how do you say? chords j/k lol

Anyway, glad to be here to discuss all kinds of gear stuff!

My sig has all the stuff I can remember in it. I hope to be setup with some decent recording equipment sometime this year so I can do some play through with all my amps etc

Thanks!

I got bored the other night

Thanks guys, much appreciated!

The more amps I play, the more amps I want. I find that most amps I can find a good tone, I mostly play heavy riffs, so if I don't like an amp it's likely just not crunchy enough, so keep that in mind when I talk amps.

Want to hear something that will likely blow you away? Plug a Blue Voodoo into an Uberkab. Once I get some good recording gear I'll have to do some sound/video bytes.

I love mine, it definitely brings a new sound to my mix. I ran a splitter between the Uberschall & Krankenstein, talk about some serious low end. Im constantly looking for THE amp that will do it all, so far there is no such thing. I bought the Uberschall thinking I would be selling one or more of my other amps as a result. That is not the case unfortunately. I plan on keeping them all and getting more :)

Can you play an Uberschall followed by a Krank?

I can and have, I have some videos on YouTube. The main problem is that my best recording device currently is my iPad, so the sound quality is poor at best. Anyone who has ever played a Krankenstein knows that it absolutely needs to be turned up to get an unbelievable sound from it. In the video I had to have the Krankenstein master at .5 and the channel master at zero to even begin to be able to record an acceptable sound. At that low of volume the Krankenstein does not sound as its intended. Also I have to mention that you will never hear a real Krankenstein without it's matching cabinet. Same with the Uberschall. Without the Uberkab it's not nearly what it's supposed to be.

I'll grab the links and post em here for the comparisons. Keep in mind I'm mostly just trying to find the right volumes to record at, so riffage is blah, just some quick chug a chugs to learn where to place the iPad and what volume my amps should be at.
