Hey everyone...

My band just released our first CD. All the guitars were done with an Egnater m4 through a marshall power amp except for a few tracks that used a tourmaster 4100.

Check it out and let me know how much I suck! (it is an internet forum, after all :p)

Sounds good. Did you self-produce or go to studio? What signal chain was used to record guitars? Mic? Pre? Too many questions !!! LOL

Yep, I am the guitarist and I also I engineered, mixed, and mastered the record in my studio where I teach music lessons. I'm glad you like it!

I used mostly sm57s and a cascade Fathead on the guitars, but sometimes I would use a Bock u195 or a md421. I was using OSA preamps. Plug directly into the M4 or Tourmaster and out to either a Marshall 4x12 with Greenbacks or 75 watt celestions.
