Not my favorite thing that he has released, but I am excited to hear the rest of the album.

But isn´t Joe like John Sykes, in that he just releases a video and then disappears for five years instead of releasing an album? I feel like this exact same thing happens occasionally, but maybe I´m not just up to speed.

Certainly not my favorite song that I've heard from him but hard to deny Joe knows good tone!

Sounds like sped up/higher-pitched "Funeral Bell".

There are definitely some BLS comparisons to be made, but I actually kinda dig this. And the dry, wiry, under-gained Marshall rhythm tone he's got going here sounds pretty killer....Reminds me of some of Lynch's best sounds.

Song is cool, riffing is always fun with Homes as is the tone. What I really like is the fact that the drums sound like a real kit! If they used samples ( probably), they used them blended in or natural sounding ones vs the over produced Slate or other samples. The toms sound like an acoustic kit with a bit of eq and that snare pops and isn't machine gunning because they likely have the real performance sitting higher than any crack sample. Listening again I really like the drums the most here.

Some comparison but not enough to annoy me. Zakk's singing and style annoys me now. All that swooshy vibe and chorus and super fast sloppy picking with lightning fast pentatonics. He peaked and Pride & Glory. His playing was raw but so musical on that one. A real shame he just became a sloppy viking.
