Hello everyone!
I'm really excited to have registered on this forum..I've been a fan of Diezel Amplification (and most of its talented users) for a long time now and after saving for the whole year I've decided to break the bank and buy one. Even though I was told I would be contacted (via a music store situated in Nicosia in the small island of Cyprus) as regards to when my order (Herbert and cab) will be ready, I've been desperately waiting for an answer for a couple of weeks now. They say that patience is virtue and in this case it's well true but i'd like to share this with the rest of the Diezel community and I'd like to have your thoughts on this.
Once again, i'm glad to have found you all and I can't wait to be a part of this family.

Iam from Canada and all i had to wait was one week i just lucked out and they had one in stock when i ordered it.

p.s. but congrats on the new purchase i luv my herbert to death
 
Cheers mate! I can't wait to get my hands on mine...who knows, perhaps some time soon i'll have some recordings with it to boast about.
Is that THE Peter Diezel before me? Is there any chance you might shed some light as to where about that order ranks? I'ma bit baffled as well as anxious..

P.S Sorry if I sound too pushy but my wallet is feelin itchy!
 
Does that mean it's in good course and it should soon be on its way? I'm keeping my fingers crossed, Mr Stapfer is a hard man to get in touch with! Thank you for replying though it means a lot and i'm grateful you took the time. I acknowledge the fact that you're probably very busy to be dealing with a single person and his request but I'm pretty sure that once that Herbie comes to my house then soon enough the whole guitar community in Cyprus will be dying for one..this place sucks when it comes to amps :aww:

Haha, awesome. I have some relatives in Cyprus & it's a little off the beaten path. I think that a Herbie will destroy everyone who hears it... :rock:
 
I´m familar with the situation. There should be shipped
more amps and cabs to Cyprus, so we have to wait
for the cabs.

No, thank YOU for letting me know..i've been waiting for this amp all my life a few more weeks won't hurt! I can't imagine the look on people's faces the first time I play that Herbie in front of a crowd...It'll definitely revolutionise the market here if the people get a proper listen!
As far as the comment about Cyprus is concerned, every disadvantage is understandable I guess considering it's a small, relatively new independent country (everything apart from some people's narrow-mindedness I guess!)..rock music is generally underrated yet the scene is growing and growing and a top class amp/sound would do us a favour I guess. I'm simply glad to belong in this forum, a group of people with whom I share a lot!
 
Still no update on the order; I kept counting the days longing for that 3 week barrier to pass and still no news; Care to shed some light, I was hoping I'd use my new Herbert in a gig on the 24th!
 
Care to shed some light on any updates Peter? I've been trying to reach Peter Stapfer but there hasn't been any reply yet. I realise this is a busy period (given that most people are on vacation) but I'd be grateful if you could give me an update or some info...
