I joined today looking for some help with an issue.
I bought a Vox AC15C1 Amp new last year. I never had a problem with it and at some point a few months back I changed out the tubes for JJ tubes.
The other day it blew the small 250mal fuse in the back of the amp so while it powered on, no sound was coming out. I bought a replacement fuse from lowes for it. Now, when I turn the amp 1 of the larger tubes turns purple like it's going to explode within 1 sec and I have to kill the power.
Any ideas what I should be looking at here? I really want to get my amp working again and don't know where to go with this? Possibly 1 bad tube? I thought I saved the factory tubes which would have been helpful here but I can't seem to find them anywhere.
