I played around with the EQ for this clip. Let me first say that I know the mixing levels aren't adjusted just yet (they melody line during the chorus is too loud). Do you like the tone compared to my other Killswitch Engage clip?

I am just trying to play around with the amp to get different tones. I have mainly been playing with my Schecter Hellraiser with EMGs for the past month. I'm beginning to transition back in to my passive pickup guitars and more mid gain clips.

I'll stop rambling, do you like this tone for a modern metal tone? I think it's pretty cool and the harmonics really jump off the fretboard.

I dig this clip a lot! Really ballsy and thick. What were those setting by the way?

Pretty sweet dude! Kinda muddy for me..not a whole lot of note clarity, but your on the right track!

I think a good part of the reason for the muddiness is because it's not mixed well, if at all. Does sound pretty good though regardless!!

Hey Chad, do you have another cab? Basic tone sounds great but, bass could benefit from breaking up less though.

Pretty ballsy but it borders on muddy. But it sounds good for a modern metal tone, it could just use a little more edge or brightness to it.

Nice. Lead Tone sounds like Sykes meets Pertucci.
Strange. I thought I posted this in different thread  I didn't even see your thread until now. Sounds pretty good though.
