New (old) Marshall in the house. '78 JMP 100 Super Lead.

Just had it brought over. Have it on a week trial period. If I want it I get it for $800. I don't think that is too bad really. It has a Rich mod master volume installed, whatever that is, it seems to work well. Also has an efx loop installed.

Did a really quick recording of it. How do you guys like it? This isn't shred, so don't expect it. It is purely classic rock style playing.

Edit: I forgot to mention, it has a bit of Maxon OD808 in front. Not a lot but enough to get a bit more... How shall I say it? OOMPH?

This thing will do the Slash type sound in spades though. Even if it isn't
a JCM 800 I can sure get that vibe out of it!

The amp is very throaty and smooth when you dial it in right. I am afeared
that it won't suit everything I like to do but I do have the Axe-FX for all the modern sounds I want and with the efx loop, this will make a great
power amp for it!

I am sitting here playing some Thin Lizzy now and this amp
NAILS "The Cowboy Song" tone! That is always a GREAT thing
