Try just using a jumper cable between the send and return jacks of the series loop to see if that fixes it. If it does, then use some contact cleaner (very small amount) in the jack, then plug/unplug the cable a few times to clean it off. I know other guys on this board have had this happen to them, and it was an easy fix.

Please, owner of the COD, tell me what are your gain and volume setting on the COD and on another module (VX or ERECT if possible) you use with.
In fact, I use the volume of my VX at 12 o'clock (gain at 12 o clock) and to have about the same volume with my COD, I can't raise its beyond 9 o clock (gain at 2 o clock) or the sound is too loud... Is it normal?!?!?
I just want to verify all is allright with my COD
