Hey guys, just thought I'd share a recording my band did last week. My rig for this consisted of the Egnater Rebel 30 head and a Mesa Boogie 4x12 cab. Used the dirty channel, gain around 2 o'clock, bass 7, Mid 5, Treble 6.

The other guitarist has a custom built Trainwreck clone done by Hall Amplification, but something was on the fritz, and it would work, so he used the Eggie too!  Everyone loved the tone. Check it out here:

Dude ... that's sounds great! The tone from the Rebel 30 is spot on. Also impressed with the mix. Did you or someone in your band do the mixing? Very nice. Nice rhythm guitar work too - riffage!

Thanks man! I thought the Rebel 30 rocked it out. I'm definitely happy with this amp. The other guitarist has a Gretch, and I have a Yamaha AES series, so our tones kind of complement each other's (his more twangy, mine more round). I did the intro/outro licks with the envelop filter and also the solo.

The recording and mix was done by a guy named Jason Mays - a guy we know locally that used to be in a good band that 'almost' hit it big. He's got a recording site on his Myspace (https://www.myspace.com/vangorecording). We thought he did a really good job considering we did it all in about 6 hours.

Thanks everybody! I appreciate it. We thought it sounded pretty good for a home studio...really for any studio around our area :D
