Got this puppy in today, never had a snakeskin finish guitar before but always wanted one. And I've been on a Jackson kick lately so when this showed up I said what the heck. Seller's description didn't let down, it's a 2006 yet about as clean as new. I can now better understand why most of them have dings on the tips of the horns, it's real easy to lose track of where they are when you're moving around. Just finished a string change and quick set up but acoustically sounds and feels sweet. Will put it through the Mesa JP-2C tonight and make some real noise.

Killer tone machine.
Got one in snow white with black pinstripes.
Yours looks great

that is awesome... I love Rhoads V's but I have moved to the smaller body style like the GJ2 with the shorter upper wing

Oh and I have a distant relative of yours ..

Awesome man. A snakeskin SL2 will probably be on my shopping list after a while.

Sexy AF!!
I love snakeskin guitars.
And like you, have always wanted one.

Sexy AF is right right I love that thing!! Big congratulations!

One thing that's impressive to me is the detail of the finish. I've looked at many of these online before and often felt the paint looked like kind of cheesy fish net job and/or just not very realistic. Example below. There's actually a lot of detail going on with the shading of the scales and what not. I don't see how painting one of these would be a terribly quick process.
