pretty sick. I think this year, I'm going to think about a custom guitar instead of the newest amp trend. In almost 20yrs of playing, I've never ordered a custom guitar. I think I'm due.

In almost 20yrs of playing, I've never ordered a custom guitar. I think I'm due.

I've done several custom orders. Other than the cost and wait times, they were all well worth it. Don't skimp. Order exactly what you want. If you can, make arrangements to visit the builders shop before you order with your favorite guitar to get them to match the neck carve. I drove to Florida to place my orders for a few years, and once went to Phoenix to have Brent Gutierrez copy my favorite guitar...tho with his "mojo-magic tricks". I really hope you have the same experience I have had, as it is incredibly satisfying.

If he's simply adding a set neck design to everything else he builds, is that a bad thing? I'd agree IF he's going away from his awesome bolt ons...
