very nice indeed. I'd add a bit more mids, but sounds thick and nice! :D
 
you should play the heavy riff over the slow riff, that might sound cool, or put some chokes on the slow riff......just my 2 cents... :rock:

Thanks guys, yeah still tweaking it and I need to EQ the dirties a little. Also I left a lot open for what my singer wants to do before I do more harmonies etc. :)
 
Thanks man, I may re do the dirties as I think I found a better mic sweet spot when making my ESP Purple Eclipse vid, so it does not sound a little muffled. :)

But still I really feel like my monitors give false readinds. Playing this back on my PC it sounds a little muffled compared to psot on with the monitors or even head phones :confused: :confused: I paid like $500 beans for those monitors and am pissed I am not getting the accuarte readings I should be :(
 
May I suggest you something?

Take that EFX & put it near the trash can. :D

Now grab your Herbert & track cleans once & pan right, then do another take & pan left. Now do the third take & pan it right again & forth take pan left. Play as many times as necessary until you get it right. If you still prefer your EFX to the result you get out of this, what can I say, go ahead & use it (this trick should give you the exact same effect with clarity & punch).

No can do. My band and I love the way the cleans came out. So the cleans are staying. :D That is the only parts with EFX.

Edit oh I retracked the dirty guitars are left side seemed higher, the drums were not loud enough and also the Guitars soundy muddy like said above. :) Here is the new mix:

hey sean...great mix I really like the opening guitar/bass? the drums sound fantastic (still need to bring them up a bit).

I'd like you to try something if you don't mind..... open the EQ insert for the guitars and ad +2 db in the 2k - 5k frew. range I THINK you'll dig it :rock:
