Straight up awesome guitar. It has the look of a stripper that takes all your money.... Love that neck with the side bar inlays. Someday.......
What is the purchase story? Where and did you get a decent deal?
Thats a Great description!!
I wanted something simple and elegant but dangerous looking.
I had never played a Suhr before, I was coming from using EBMM Lukes exclusively.
I wanted something radically different to reinvigorate my playing and imagination.
I custom ordered it through Eddie Berman at Indoor Storm. He is Awesome!!
I made a few changed in the first couple of months. I added a pull pot on the tone
control to split the rear pick-up in parallel. I went to the Suhr shop and Mike
helped me pick out my Maple top, I think we picked well
Thanks Mike!!!!
While there I had the chance to play a Modern for the first time and realized that I couldn't
gel with the original neck shape I ordered (the .780 - .830 Elliptical). So I called Eddie and asked if
I could change to the Govan shape (.800 - .850) with the shoulders sanded down.
He called back and said that even though they had already cut my neck they would make me a new one!!
Awesome.
The guitar wasn't cheap... at all. So I didn't get a "good deal" in the sense of haggling a lower price.
I went into it expecting to spend a Lot and considering what I got.....
it was a great deal!
Worth every single penny and second of wait time.
I am more than happy with what I paid for it.
I won't hesitate to buy more gear from Suhr.
