I have a Randall RM4 and RT250 rig and was wondering if it would cause trouble to slave one side to the other with a Hot Plate, Weber MASS or similar. This would be in the stereo mode not switching mode. I asked this on the MTS forum and no one was able to help me. I hope going to the Egnater area of Rig-Talk can help. Thanks for any and all help guys, Jerry.

I tried long ago with a pdi-03 palmer and a stereo tube power amp.
Connections:
pre out into pwramp in ch1
pwramp ch1 speaker out into pdi-03 (load box)
pdi-03 out (line level, no cab emulated) into effects input
effects output into pwramp in ch2
pwramp speaker out to speaker.

this way you can crank the power stage (ch1) to achieve power amp distortion, place effects (dly, cho, rev) after power amp distortion and use ch2 for amplification in the linear region.

hope it helps

Thanks Marco, appreciate the help. Glad to know I am not the only one who has, or wants to try this.

The important things are that each poweramp output must have a load (dummy or real speaker) and each poweramp input must be a line level signal.

That I understand and am aware of being necessary. Once again thank you for the help.
