Just wanted to say hi to everybody. I've been reading this board for some time, trying to decide if an Einstein is a good choice for me. I found great and informative posts, and also very convincing sound clips :) I just have to mention Hunter here

I pulled the trigger and ordered an Einstein 50 W head, which was shipped today from the factory
I already plan to take a few days off from work next week when it arrives :D

I currently use a Triaxis with a custom made EL34 power amp, through a Mesa 2x12 rectifier cab. While the rack thing seemed great for a year or so, I ended missing the simplicity and vibe of a great head. I'm pretty sure the Einstein will fix that.

I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I'll have the first impresions.

Consider this a PRE-Welcome Aboard!! :D

You'll start with the Einy, then it'll be so-long Mesa 2x12, hello Diezel 2x12, then it'll be "maybe I should get VH4", and you will. Then you'll be "hmmmmm, I love my Einy and the V so much, I think I really do need the Herbert", and you'll do that - or throw all of us a curve ball and pull the trigger on a Schmidt. Regardless, welcome to the world of Diezel

It's like a SONIC Sodom and Gemorrah!!

Nice! Welcome and congrats!! Let us know how you like it!!

im a new member myself and its the first amp that totally wowed me right out of the box with everything at noon. then it only gets better!

 I have to ask, as per the handle on this forum - what ESPs are you playing??

I love my FR-II and NT-II.

Bloody awesome!!

I'm not sure if this question was directed to me, because I don't play ESP's :)

About the Diezel cabs, I don't even want to test one :D

No worries... Acid flashback or something like that - I could have sworn your name on this forum had something to do with ESP guitars. Then again, I often think there are people in trenchcoats and fedoras racing through my home while I'm eating breakfast - according to my wife, they're not there.

Cheers,
V.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome! If UPS is right, I'll get the amp on tuesday, and I'll get back with my first impressions.

The amp arrived yesterday, and it is every bit as good as I was expecting. Will have to take it to the rehearsal in a couple of days, and then I will really get a feel on everything.

I had a great eperience with the company, they replied in less then 1 hour to all my emails, and the amp arrived exactly when promised.

Well, after playing the amp at home for a week or so I dived right in and took it to a gig :) A small one, so I used my little 1x12 open back, with V30.
The amp was fantastic, I only used Ch 1 Mode 3 and Ch 2, and got my (very usable!) clean tones by rolling back the volume on the guitar.
The first thing I noticed was how much better the whole band sounded, because the Einstein has this great EQ'd sound, where it has huge lows without stepping on the bass player's realm, and great cut, without fighting with the lead vocal's range.
I know the amp will sound much better with my Mesa 2x12, but I am already considering getting a K100 to replace one of the V30s in the Mesa cab. I could use a _tiny_ bit more open sound, and it seems that the K100 will do just that. I am so familiar with the V30 that I am not ready to replace both of them, but if the K100 impresses me I will think about it.
