Oh Damn !!!

Read that too. Looks like the Tweaker 40 combo with a G12H50 would be a pretty killer amp. I don't think you can say nothing is happening in the modular line up seeing as how Bruce just posted about the Deizel Herbert/high gain roundup for testing new modules.

On the servicing issue, it does seem like someone at Egnater NEEDS to monitor this and other forums regularly and religiously. As in a full time duty of there job. I think the reality is about 50/50. Egnater does not deserve the "reputation" if you could even call it that for mediocre service and amp problems. I think they are blown out of proportion by over zealous web posting and a "I want immediate satisfaction" mentality that goes with today's "everything on demand exactly when I want it and how I want it" attitude. Those expectations and business reality don't always agree. Egnater seems to have also grown faster than it could keep up with and in some cases drops the ball. Warranted or not, I have seen more "my Egnater XXX has this problem or that problem" or I called Egnater and no one responded" type threads than probably any other product I pay attention to (< not scientific data I know). THERE ARE 6 THREADS on the first page of this forum, where the faithful gather, all describing issues of various kinds, little response from Egnater, long over due E2 frustration, and the mystery departure of the only guy who held things together on these boards, Jeff Hilligan. ??????

Anyway, I sure hope this new Tweaker line is all that. It looks like an awesome amp and it may get my attention. I was thinking about a Nolatone for my high gain Fender style amp. Might have to wait till these come along.

"Egnater seems to have also grown faster than it could keep up with"

This is the only thing I have ever really had any issue with. They have always taken care of my needs, personally.

..I could be wrong but I think he said they have 2 new models coming out referring to the Armageddon, Vengeance ..i thinlk it was those GC amps he wanted to compare the Deizels too although I could be wrong

Went back and re-read the post by Bruce. You are right he said two new models and I read that as modules. I stand corrected on that.

+1000. A year ago or so, Bruce and others @ Egnater were pretty active in addressing issues and keeping in touch on this board...not so much as of late. Could be growing pains, a shift in focus? Who knows.

I still love my Egnater amp, and so far have had little issues besides bad power tubes.

Yea, the fact is, in the modern guitar gear age, customer service includes a strong web presence. It's just a fact of life and if you don't have it, you don't have good customer service. Sorry I don't like it either, but it just is.
