After almost 7 weeks of waiting since i placed my order for a twinjet direct from the bogner factory,it finally arrived today. I was looking for an amp to complement my herbert. I love the diezel sound which is a crushing heavy no holds barred distortion but i wanted something a little more raw with some bite and edge and im happy to say that the twinjet does that well. After my honeymoon period with it(where the diezel gets neglected), i think i have a problem to decide which one i want to play.

That white Herbert looks sexy as can be!! Cool score on the Twin Jet hope you love it.

Awesome setup...someone likes white ;)

What speakers are you running in the Mills cab?

Eric

after all these years of having black heads (pun not intended), decided i wanted to go for a white look starting with the herbert and the cab. then thought id get the uber in white also since it would blend in better with its white brother.

im running an x pattern of g100s and v30s in the cab and it sounds pretty killer with both amps.

Looks amazing! congrats, I'm sure they sound killer, I loved my Herbert and my Uberschall, which I had both still!

now I'm on the hunt for 2 mills cabs!

how do you like the vovox cable? illy question I know but? thought I'd ask!

once again, congrats dude!

I get to try the Bogner Fish out a bit more tonight with my Herbert. I think Bogner and Diezel makes a good mix. I am planning to run both, why choose one

Herbert Dry / Bogner --> Eventide H3000 -- > Mesa Power Amp wet

Should be destructive to say the least.

Keep us updated on how your setup goes and what you think after the honeymoon!!

im a cable to amp guy and i dont mess around with effects much so i figured i could spend a little more on my cable. i actually a/b the vovox cable blind with an EA lyric Hg and a planet waves. There was a huge difference between the EA/vovox and the planet waves. Sounded much punchier and a lot more 3d on the clean channel. I couldnt tell the difference between the EA and the vovox though but i went with the vovox anyway because it is very flexible and dosent untangle at all. Now i dont worry about the cables anymore :)

Do you gig with those? I heard the Herbert for example is great if you are in a stadium but hard to control in a small club for example. True??

Now get some EL34s in that JET!!!

I had the exact same set up, but in black Bogner,Diezel,Mills. The TJ is now gone though. It couldn't compete with the Herbert

Interesting... I found my TJ lost traction in the mix when the mids were lowered below 11 or 12 on a loud platform  Glad it works for ya!!

Peace,

oo yea it deff doesnt cut as good with those scooped settings.......those are more or less my bedroom settings for the amp

when i play with a drummer im most likely on ch1 cuz i feel it cuts better than the 2nd channel and i keep the mids right around 10 oclock and it sits in the mix really nicely
