Hi everybody,
I´m a new Diezel owner and new to this Board.

I also have an TC Electronic G-Major which i run through the serial loop and the g major is making strange noises......?????
It´s like a brumming and i have no idea what it could be.
The cables are from Monster Cables. The Rock series.

This reminds me about my Marshall JVM.
When I used the serial loop there was no humming.
When I used the parallel loop there was humming.
(or vice versa - don't know exactly - long ago)
Anyway: I used the Lehle P-Split in the loop and it worked fine!

It´s strange....That humming was on every Channel.
When i switched the G-Major of there no humming anymore.Even in the standby was this humming.First i thought that ia have made an mistake with the cables

Then there shouldn't be a ground loop between those two. Strange . . .

i use this same setup & i have zero noise. check if you have a bad cable. Just to be safe. But i have zero noise.

The Cables are new.
I guess that the kill is off...I´ll check that.

The G-Major should work in the serial loop, but it has a
grounded power cable. This can cause hum.

This seems to be rather common problem with modern FX-units. There is various methods to deal with this, but I would be curious to hear what is the official Diezel recommendation to this issue? :)

Thank You Herr Diezel.

As we are not allowed to isolate the ground of the
effect unit there are not a lot of option. All units
with external power supply or battery should work.

The other solution is to use isolation transformers
between the amp and the effect unit.

I have a not expensive Boss delay pedal which works
perfect soundwise and in case of level and hum.
