Hi, I just became the proud owner of a VH4 for my studio, I absolutely love it. Although now I need a good cab for it as I can't keep using my friends mesa cab. Ideally I want a Diezel cab but this will have to wait until funds allow it.

I have been offered a very good deal on a bogner straight 4x12 with V30s. Has/does anyone use one of these with a VH4 and what are their opinions? I would really like to know soon as this is a good deal i've been offered but I can't test the cab out beforehand due to distance.

Thanks alot

If it's a Bogner 4x12 front loaded with V30s, it must be identical to the old Diezel 4x12 cab.

If you can raise the funds I can only recommend trying to get your hands on one of the new Diezel frontloaded 4x12 cab. We recently were in the studio and there I could directly compare a Mesa oversized against my frontloaded with V30 and G12K100. The Diezel cab totally blew the Mesa away combined with the VH4. A lot tighter and the Mesa was very fizzy. Also the G12K100 was a dream to record.

The Mesa cab worked better with the 5150 and Krank Rev1 the studio guy hat though.

Mine sounds great!...I am having a hard time finding a better alternative.

Also don't sleep on the rear loaded ones. I have two and absolutely love them. I had a front loaded but it sounded like dog shit as it did not have V30's and the Mook at copperhead music told me the eminence speakers sound great.....phail so i sold it.

I gotta try out a front loaded one with V30's.

Cheers for all the responses, yeah it is rear loaded as far as I know. Think I might go for it :) Then when business picks up I can afford a Diezel 412F too.

Really am loving the VH4, I stopped playing guitar for a while but since I have had this in the studio I have been getting home very late. I'm addicted to the punch this amp has.

Welcome to the family. Ever since I stumpled into a shop that had one I sold all my boogies, and other amps to buy it. Since then I have had that 1st one I sold to buy my Vh4S i still have and I bought a mon Vh4. Simply stunning cleans, amazing distortion, love the channel inserts and midi controllable. Great job Peter!!
