JC, another nice track. I really really like your first single "Voices". I liked this track as well, however I thought a the uber was a little more in the backround on this one. I too have a twin jet and cant wait to do some recording!! Nice job

thanks for checking it out...the guitar was a bit more in the background on this one...the next few songs that we are recording are ALOT more guitar dominant, this one was a bit more bass/vocal dominant, since we were trying to keep a more mellow eerie sound to it. The next few songs are more high energy and heavy, and im hoping to have them done in the next two months.

I used a Mesa rectifier cabinet with the standard V30's in it. As far as mics are concerned I really have no clue what was used, we work with a friend in Brooklyn who handles all of the recording/mixing so I'd have to ask him. I'll be in touch with him in the next couple of weeks so i'll follow-up on what mics he uses after I find out from him

Spoke with my buddy that handles all of our recording about which mics we used for the guitars and he said it was a Shure SM7, and an Audio Technica 4050.

Guitars sound great. Thought the song got a bit repetitive / could've used a bridge towards the end.

this is one of the most badass bands I've heard in a long long time !!

As I mentioned in my email to You guys few months back, asking when we can expect the cd, I'm saying again - I'll be the first in the queue for this shit ! Sick voice, songs, sound ... nuf said

Can't wait to grab a copy

thanks for the compliments. We have another 5 songs to finish so that we can get our full-length out. I wish we could get this thing finished already but work, and the fact that our bassist quit a few months back have slowed things a bit...Starting July 18th we are actually beginning a pretty big promo campaign with a music publicist and radio promo company to promote our EP which is basically a 3 song pre-release to our album (consisting of the songs Voices, False, and Jesus Freak), so stay tuned to college radio which will be the target area that we will really be pushing the music to. We are expecting to have the full-length released by march of 2012 so stay tuned. I have links below to the songs that will be released to radio in July check em out if you havent heard them all already.

If you're referring to the stuff posted up above, yes they were all recorded using the TJ for all distorted tracks. For cleans I used a 65 Twin (i think...not 100% sure since it isnt my amp). If you're referring to the new songs...then yes the TJ for all distorted stuff, and either the same Fender or some old Vox for the clean tracks (again not 100% sure of what Vox model the amp is since it isnt mine). I do use the TJ's first channel live for cleans, but for the recordings I was looking for a nice chimey quality to the cleans that I really could not get out of the amp, so I went with the Fender and an old Gretsch guitar that I borrowed from someone.
