I just bought a Ecstasy which is the best amp I have ever played period. I have gone through Marshall, Soldano, CAA and this by far is the best. However which in the Bogner line would match up well with the XTC. I play mostly 80's metal, melodic rock. At the risk of wanting to buy a second XTC, any opnions on which Bogner amp would make a good mate. Thanks for the input

Next up is the new Twin Jet Uberschall. Lots of different tones than the Ecstasy and compliments it nicely. Call Rob at Tone Merchants, he will hook you up.

The new 20th anni. shiva will get you there with no problem. And as rareguitar said Rob at Tone Merchants da man!!!

+2 on Rob. I've dealt with another Bogner dealer that I won't name, that was very pushy and snotty with me. I choose to do business with Tone Merchants, even though we are on opposite ends of U.S. (South California and New York)...that should tell you something.

thanks guys

if u tune to standard and need an amazing clean, then the 20th shiva is amazing. If u wanna get even heavier and a more aggressive tone then the XTC, then the Twin Jet is amazing. I come to the shop every day and chug away

Samething with a store in pittsburgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys lol it really is a tough call :D My concern is that the twin jet may be voiced too modern for me. Not that all that gain worries me, its the voicing. The shiva may be more tuned to my hair metal roots  However how does it differ from the blue/red channels of the XTC?

For those who own or have played one, besides a more vintage voicing, how does the classic compare to the 101b? Maybe the classic would be different enough to cover some of the ground that the 101b misses. Even though that area is pretty small
