Well, I have wanted a proper Goldtop for some time now, and thanks to my boy Michael Lickliter and a solid “bro deal”, this guys is now mine.

It’s a 2005 Standard. Plays killer, and has a nice chonk of a neck. The stock pickups sound killer, but may still swap them out.

I think the Goldtop is probably my favorite LP finish ever. I MAY start steel wool’ing the neck to satin it up a bit.

Sweet axe, I love a gold top. Congrats. Your amp arrangement also looks great but the piece that ties it all together is that trombone you made into a lamp, that is just plain cool. Very classy touch.

I like the thicker neck on that Paul. Please don't scuff it out. What pickups are you considering and which pickups are in there now?
Whatever pickups came stock. Not even sure. I’ve put Balaguer Evergreen sets in all my LP’s and they’ve been amazing.

You’re on fire with gear these days homie LOL!

I’m a sucker for gold guitars. HNGD. Put some black bobbin pups on that bitch. LP’s without pickguard I like open pickups. With pickguard I like covers.

He is taking 2025 by storm. Gear acquisitions, videos, gigging!

Congrats! She looks great.
Thanks! Fucking ripper of a guitar.

Man I have another PRS coming, I scored a TriAmp MKIII for $1200 shipped so that’s inbound, a few other bits as well… I gotta cut the crap! lol!

Some double creams always look great on a goldtop.
Yeah that’s the plan.

Enjoy the guitar man! It couldn’t of found a better home!
