Nice grab! During my heaviest gigging years in the early 90s I had my USA Hamer Centaura as my main, and a black RG 550 as my backup. I paid like 250 for it in 89, it was 2 years old. I think I traded it for a Mesa armor plated recto cab that was clean and got like 200...how much did you pay?

Thanks The crazy thing is that I have watched the seller for about 3 months trying to sell this on CL and in facebook groups and had no interest. I had offered him trades because sales were slow at my shop but they finally picked up so I offered him cash for it yesterday. I also bought another CU24 yesterday with Pegasus/Sentient pickups. 6 guitars this week.

$868 total with shipping and I told him to add the 3.5% paypal fee on it. He only lives about 1.5 hours from me but I don't have time to drive so he is shipping it.

Nice score. It seemed like everyone was playing Ibanez hack then. I always dug the maple boards and matching headstocks on those. I had an RG-760 from that era, was a great guitar.

Nice! I'm really picky about the RG body style when it comes to colors. Some colors make the body look too flat and long, while others compliment it perfectly. Here's my 1991 RG770DX that I bought on this very board a million years ago, hanging with some other gear. Super old picture. I should take some new ones.

Oh yes, i love the 770dx guitars. The 565 is my favorite though, gotta catch em all!!!!!!
