Have been on an 80's guitar quest of late. Got this 1988 Charvel 1A on a pretty good deal (for 2023) from Chicago Music Exchange.
Either someone has re-finished the body in a Gunmetal metallic color or this was a one-off that I didn't know they made. I couldn't find anything on a gunmetal colored 80's Charvel 1A. But that neck !! It's in incredible shape and I just fell in love with the tint of the neck and in person it does not disappoint.
I have a new pick guard on order and will return it to the original SSS config.
