I’ve been behaving myself for over a month, but that’s no fun. I’ve been wanting a gold too but have too many Les Paul’s. But, none of them are P90s, not have I owned a P90 guitar. This is the first guitar I’ve bought from mainland since it’s so hard to buy online when your billing address doesn’t match you shipping address. I finally found a store that accepts Amazon pay which has my shipping address listed as primary.

Anyway, Crews Maniac Sound is house brand for Musicland and are made by Deviser Japan. There Les Paul Guitats are only release in smaller runs and sell out quickly. You can only get them used. Long Tenon, ABR bridge and Nitro.

First impression is that it looks and feels great. They did a fresh fret level and crown. Action is great. I had to deoxit the switch and pots, but that’s expected here with the humidity. Plugging in, I fell in love with the neck but didn’t like the bridge at all. I thought adjusting the height would do it. I then noticed the spacing and color was slightly different than the neck. I popped the pups out and the original is the neck and the bridge was swapped to a Duncan SP90-2b. That a 15k ceramic turd to by ears. I’m glad I ordered some parts to make a new set.

Deviser makes really nice guitars. I was this close to picking up a Seventy Seven Exrubato Jazz (a legit MIJ one) a couple years back but guy wanted a few bucks more than I was willing to shell out so I turnt it down. Still second guessing myself on that one. The fretboard on that looks great, nice and dark. Not sure how all these Japanese guitars I run across are getting nice dark boards on them unless they are using a dye but my Edwards isn't dyed and it is dark and real slick too. Congrats.

Killer Scott !!! When you start making some P90's, please put me on your order list.....

Looks like some quality craftsmanship! Congrats.

Nice looking guitar, love the gold. I’m pretty set on my guitars the last 6 months or so, but really want a gold PRS one day

Congrats!

The History LP I have is also a Fugijen built for a retailer only...can't think of the name. But only bought through them.

I’ve played a few history’s here. They seem well made and 100% Japanese made, but the ones I’ve seen used do t seem to hold their value

The one I have has a really nice flame Maple top. Probably the 2nd best MiJ LP I've had, behind a particularly amazing 79 Greco.

Nice on the Badcat Cougar. I used to have a head and it was really impressive for an import.

My Navigator Custom is king. The only reason I dont play it more is because of the unpotted Seth Lovers. If I were in the states, they’d have been swapped long ago. The Japanese will ding you hard on resale value for pickup mods, including pickups.
