Man I love cheap guitars. Even more than that I love guitars that are bargains for what you get. Consider this: 2006 Carvin DC127. Hardtail, dual stock hums (will probably change the bridge hum), maple neck with mahogany wings, jet black finish, tung oil neck, G&G tweed case. From Carvin this probably was $1000, I got it for about half. Love these things.

nice, i love my carvin... i have another on the way... hows it play?

I was anticipating having to adjust the neck, nope. I had to change strings and tune, but set up is low and lean, silky smooth neck, stainless frets, light and well balanced. These guitars are worth what they sell for new, but used are just a killer buy.

sweet! i love my V220. we must be in a small group of carvin AND lowel owners

I bet you're right. My Lowel is a totally different guitar though, no reason they can't coexist peacefully. ;)
