Following the wise advice of Racerxrated...
95 USA Charvel san dimas1 ...koa body.
KILLER guitar...fat.. resonant...light..
I had never had a superstrat that wasn't Alder or Ash...
I don't know what level the Custom shops are... but this one is incredible...
on par with my Luxxtone.

Gorgeous. I remember those early/mid 90’s Charvels with the unique headstock. Any one I pulled off the wall at any guitar store that carried them played like a dream. Congratulations!
 
Congrats! I also used to have one of these from 1995. I find koa has a similar sound to mahogany, but still with some of its own thing. If you like this one you’ll probably also love a good custom shop one

Congrats! Great fiddles, as were the Jackson archtops from around the same time frame
