So this arrived today, no photos yet, and I'm very pleasantly surprised. The case alone is killer. Over sized to fit a full V and be square, not a cheap case, and a perfect fit inside. Guitar needed string height adjusted and a tuning/intonation, but after that it was all gravy. No neck adjusting, yet anyway, no finish flaws, frets are awesome, all in all this is a killer import guitar. I'm even on the fence about pickups, bridge is moderately hot with a thick bottom end and interesting upper mid. The neck pickup is a bit fuzzy, but not bad.
It could use my favorite strings and a little more tweaking with intonation, but the strings are sitting at about 1/16th" @ 12 with no buzzing. It's lighter than I anticipated but it hangs pretty well. It's a wide guitar so by the time I get it hanging right I actually have easier access to upper frets than normal. Let's just say I'm fast becoming a V fan.
The neck itself is a pretty flat radius, I'd guess 12" or so, and a medium D or flat C shape, very similar to my Hamer, and really comfy.
In short, great guitar.
