It's been a long time coming (over a year to be exact) but my custom EGC Chessie recently arrived. HUGE sounding guitar with amazing resonance and clarity. Setup and build quality are both top notch, perfect in every way. Weight is fantastic too, feels around 8lbs to me.

Titanium anodized body, neck, and headstock. Black anodized fretboard, pickguard, and control plate. Raw edges to emulate neck binding and layering on the guards. Brushed Bigsby and satin hardware. Wired up like a Pawnshop Mustang Special, dual humbuckers each with a 3-way slider to go between inner coil tap/humbucker/outer coil tap. Looks and feels like metal sex. Sounds incredible. Gonna be spending lots of time with this one. My other guitars will be jealous.

Close up to show the raw edge detail on the anodized guard, control plate, and neck.

Congrats, that is a very cool guitar, I may have missed it, but pick ups do you have in there? How does it sound compared to a wood guitar?

Thanks.

They're some custom wound EGC HBs, wound in house when they built it. They sound great, full and thick and articulate in humbucker mode and a little hotter than a Strat single in the coil tap modes. A huge array of tones with the wiring schem we used.

As for sound compared to a wood guitar, it basically sounds bigger with far more harmonic content, a unique sound but nothing alien. Unplugged it's incredibly loud as well, could almost pull off a steel guitar sound with a room mic.

Sweet, enjoy

I'll be honest, usually EGC builds look rather terrible, but yours looks sleek and fantastic.

Not my cup of tea but I can seriously appreciate how nice this guitar is and the craftsmanship involved. WOW... happy NGD bud.

Congrats!

Here's mine BTW:

Badass guitars guys..aint nuthin wrong with some new designs!

Pretty cool looking piece of tin ya got there  I would like to try one of those

Hey did you get to find out about the amp you were trying to pm about?

Thanks guys. EGCs are def a different beast but I fell in love with mine instantly. Extremely low maintenance too, neck never moves so zero tweaking required. They should be getting more dealers soon so hopefully people will have a chance to get one in hand to try out.

Cool  welcome to the Forum.

I think I must be behind the times. I have never even heard of this company. I can't even imagine how expensive these must be. Extremely unique to say the least! Happy new guitar day.

They used to be cheaper than many other custom builders out there, but they've hiked the prices up the past couple years. They are popular in certain circles, largely due to King Buzzo from The Melvins. Well, maybe not popular, but recognizable and well known.
