The guitar was listed on Facebook a week ago or so, and ever since I saw it, it's been gnawing on my mind.

So earlier, I drove up to the store, deciding to try it out. I already have a lot of guitars, and I didn't need another one in this shape for sure, but I had to put my mind to rest.

Bad idea. I was hooked immediately, and haggled the price and took it home.

So to my humble abode, I bid thee welcome, my new Navigator NLP-480LTD

This is either the best or the second best Les Paul I've ever played. It's been years since I tried that Murphy R9, so my memory isn't accurate as to which was better

But holy hell, what an amazing guitar!

And what a surprise that it's a T-serial too!

I'm not so enthused with the Seth Lovers. I love them in the custom, but I think I'd like a Standard to have a bit more "rock" in them

But oh well, who cares? It's a 10/10 guitar. I'll mess around with it for a few weeks to see if I really want that pickup swap.

Probably no, but if I did, it would still be a PAF type, in a different flavor perhaps.

Wow!!! Congrats!!! Major score!!!

That neck looks thick. What's the carve?

I've tried Seths in two separate guitars, an ES and an LP, both Edwards copies, and didn't care for them. Somehow they are always too bright even dialing back the EQ and tone knobs. The bridge lacks punch. Mine are in a box someplace. I've heard enough WCR recommendations here and elsewhere that when I get more dough together I'll probably try at least a WCR Fillmore or Godwood neck. I gotta super distortion in the bridge of my LP now.

Enjoy in good health!!!

They just call it "U"

IMO, it's like a slimmer 59 carve, but not as thin as an R0

Got me with the clickbait too 🤣 came here expecting some sick one off from ESP Japan especially given their horrendous wait times

Wow, love that gold top. I’ve been jonesing for a gold top something for about a year.
That’s an incredible deal. $1492…you and Columbus have something in common now.

Maybe I'll keep the Seths

I like that harmonic quality they hav when distorted

Sounds really really nice bro, clear and articulate. It has that "bright present" tone that just didn't work through my rig, Twin Reverb. They are strident in the highs and just didn't sound as nice through my amp as the '57 classics though I still used them for a hundred plus gigs. If you have a NMV amp give them a shot and lemme know what you find. Congrats again on a sweet guitar and thanks for sharing a clip.
