I've been wanting one of these for a long, long time. I wanted a JP Jr. that had all the vintage correct cosmetic appointments, but not the big fat neck, and not the big fat price tag.

I'm a Green Day fan, but not a fanboi by any means, but the whole signature thing didn't scare me off like some folks.

Practically STOLE this thing off eBay for $800. It's just about dead mint.

Already spent major time with it, as two of my friends own one (EWSEthan and Lublin here on RT). I've borrowed both of them on different occasions.

• Phenomenal guitar that just resonates really well. Feels alive when strummed.
• All 3 of ours so far seem to be great ones, no duds in the bunch.
• Nice slim 60s neck that's fast.
• Vintage tuners work very well. Holds tune better with 11's than 10's, which is fine with me.
• Sounds punchier and louder with 11's too.
• Intonates suprisingly well with the vintage tailpiece that's on there now.

I'm curious to try out this H90 pickup tonight and see what it's all about.

Keith Urban actually plays one of these on occasion. Although he typically sticks with his actual 57. Either way-kinda surprised me.

The case makes up in flashiness for the understated appearance of the guitar.

Yes, and black nail polish and eyeliner, and a booklet full of political propaganda.

JK. The only visual thing that makes it "Signature" is his initials on the back of the headstock. Other than that, it's got a 60's slim neck, not a typical 50's fat neck, that's more typical to Jr's.
